Birthday Party Weekend

This past weekend we went to two parties for kids that are in Kaitlin's class. Tyler and Kaitlin are above at Jumpity Jump!

Jackson's Play and School Picnic

Jackson's School did a Mother Goose Performance on Friday Night. Afterwards, we had a picnic. As you can see from the pictures - Jackson was very serious. In one of the pictures, he is trying very hard not to crack a smile- he needed to stay in character - Ha! At the end during the finale, Jackson showed us that he can bow, which he proceeded to do numerous times! Kaitlin loved the play too, and she was especially glad to get to see Brianna!

Peter Pan

This past weekend, Mike and I took Kaitlin to see Peter Pan in Crossville. We had a great time. The Playhouse is also great because after the show, we got to meet the stars!!!

A Crazy Moment

Sometimes hysterical things happen when they are not expected. Take for example this past weekend as I got ready to leave for Crossville to go see Peter Pan. These days, Jackson will pretty much do whatever Kaitlin asks him to do. He is just glad to get to play with his big sister. While I was packing, the two of them walked in looking like the above. Needless to say - I died laughing!

Fun at Lauren and Jackson's House

This week we got to go to Lauren and Jackson's house. Here is Jackson riding a tricycle. This has been a hard thing for him to master, but he did actually pedal this one! Maybe we are making some progress!

Knoxville Marathon

Mike and Kaitlin both participated in the Knoxville Marathon this past weekend. Mike did the half marathon and Kaitlin did the Kids Run. She did the first 25 miles prior to Sunday. Sunday she did the final 1.2 miles. She ended in Neyland Stadium. We were also glad to get to run with our friends Hannah and Caroline!!!
