Savings Found the Week of Sept. 28th

Hello!

Sad to say that this is not a great week of deals at Kroger, but there are a few deals. This is the type of week that I try to save and not spend a lot at the store - I would rather spend when I am getting a great deal - although my receipt today was a lot more than I would have liked!!!! Fun!

Kroger -
Aquafresh Toothpaste - FREE (sale and coupon)
Kraft American Singles - $1.95 (sale and coupon)
Kraft Assorted cheeses - $2.00 (sale and coupon)
Tyson Breast Chicken on Sale - 99 cents a lb. ( they usually have a coupon too!)
Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls - $1.09 (sale and coupon)

Nationally Kroger dropped the Hot Dog and Pillsbury Brownie sale, but my Kroger (middlebrook) continued it - check your store out if you are interested in either of these products. 50 cents for a pack of Hot Dog's is always a good deal!

Blues Clues Time

Today Blues Clues came for a visit to Sprout. This is Jackson upon first noticing Blue.

A VOL Pep Rally

Today the VOLS came to Jackson's preschool for a Pep Rally - Jackson had his orange on, but he still wore his Penn State Crocs! Ha!

Had a great saving tip from my friend Beth Waycaster! Each week the paper puts out coupons for Jo Ann's, Micheal's,etc. The Jo-Ann's coupon is typically for 40% off an item. These stores sell great crafts and toys for kids birthday presents. I found Melissa and Doug and all kinds of fun things! Just a savings tip for birthday presents!!!!

Ijams Field Trip

Today Kaitlin's class went on a trip to Ijams Nature Center. Here they are headed with their magnifying glass.

Now they are in the Pond seeing what exciting things they can find with their nets!

Kaitlin, Annie, and Lauren inside the Mock Tree.

It was a fun trip and the most important thing that we learned was what poison ivy looks like!!!!

Kaitlin decided to make Jackson into Sticker Boy Jackson the Hero today - Jackson loved it!

Coupons - Make sure this week to cut out the Target Coupon for the pharmacy in the Target flyer. Kroger and other stores will take this coupon too!

Kroger -
They are having a great sale this week. One of the deals is a school deal. Look for Yellow Tags. If you buy 15 participating items. You immediately save $3. This sounds like a lot to buy to only save $3, but one of the things is Campbell's Tomato Soup. If you get several of these at 39 cents each (Coupon and sale), then you can quickly get to 15. Also GM Cereal at $1.50 each (sale and coupon) - lastly Goldfish is included. - We never have enough Goldfish at our house! Ha!

They put out their latest Rebate items for the month. Again it is so easy to enter these on-line. (if you are in TN or are one of the test states)
One of the Free items is Crest Pro-Health Toothpaste - take in your manufacturer's coupon for $1 off , and they will pay you to buy it!
Crest Pro-Health Mouthwash is on sale this week only - it is $4.49 and they give you a register rewards worth $4.49 on your next purchase, so it is essentially FREE.
